Wellington and Napier

After I left the south island and my travel buddy Drew, I had some mostly rainy and typical windy days in Windy Welli (Wellington). I stayed at the Downtown Backpackers which was a former first class hotel (Waterloo Hotel). At the year the Hotel was opened it was known as the best serviced hotel in the southern hemisphere, which made Queen Elizabeth staying here on here coronation tour through the commonwealth. For myself I wouldn't recommend these Hostel because it is pricey and too big to get to know people.
From Wellinton I took the bus to Napier, which was one of the most sunny towns I've been in New Zealand. And because of some crazy guy's at Wally's Backpackers and the forthcoming German public holiday "Maennertag" (Men's Day) I decided to stay a bit longer in this nice town at the east coast of the north island.
Thanks to everyone for the nice days at the worst club in New Zealand (the Latitude "Latz") ;p
