Lake Hawea, Breast Hill Track and Timaru River Section

Good Morning World,

Yesterday Drew and I had to brake up the current part of the track after two days of very good weather, because of high river levels or like the New Zealander would say flooded rivers. We turned around after we couldn't cross the river Timaru and had a 30 km walk with a lot of climbing out of the Hawea mountain area to the lake Hawea township, there we took a taxi and went back to wanaka, where we actually stay for another night. Tomorrow we heading to Mount Cook and start another track around the Mt. Cook National Park, hopefully without river crossings.

Last night in civilization for free in a caravan
